This was an excellent photo to work from and although it was smaller than the usual, standard size, the details can still be seen clearly.

This shows the initial stage of the drawing, with a pen & ink outline.

Now the pen & ink has been completed and colour (acrylic) has been added for the eyes. Next graphite will be added to complete the portrait, as shown above.
