My Favorite Things
"Raindrops on Roses....." or my old tractor, my lifelong teddy bear etc. These can all be immortalized in a painting, either in a realistic style or abstract.
Have you ever watched the TV show "The Repair Shop"? It makes you realize how precious some items can be, as people get them fixed up to keep and pass onto generations to follow. Artwork is the same.
So I am trying a new venture to help keep memories of special items alive, by offering to paint (from photos) your "Favorite Thing"
Yes, men can have favorite things too. This old Oliver tractor has seen better days, but its memory is kept alive with this 10" X 6" painting, created as a pen & ink drawing with acrylic washes.
