This was a rare occasion when the photographs for this painting were taken when the sun was not on the front of the home, but coming from behind and giving beautiful back lighting to the trees. This cottage is situated on Lower Buckhorn Lake, not far from Beachwood Resort.
The painting was done in acrylics on watercolour paper with a protective finish.
